All are okay, after Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott’s bus caught on fire while traveling to Dallas for The Academy of Country Music Awards. Hillary posted on Instagram that her husband, her tour manager, and her driver were also on board, and that they had to “evacuate very quickly.” According to E! News, a spokesperson for the police department there said, “”There was a tire blowout on the bus. They pulled off to the side and somehow the bus caught fire…” Thankfully, no one was injured. Hillary’s Instagram posts are below. She posts that although other personal belongings were destroyed, her bible made it through the fire.
Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today. Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly. EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!! ~hillary

I just got this picture from the scene of the fire and HAD to share this. Today, when our bus caught on fire we had quite a few personal belongings in the back (where I was asleep before evacuating the bus) one of them being my Bible. I kid you not, EVERYTHING in the back lounge was destroyed from the flames, except my Bible. The outside cover was burned and messed up but NOT ONE PAGE was missing. Yall, God's Word will always stand. He is FOR YOU, WILL PROTECT YOU, AND HIS LOVE FOR YOU WILL NEVER FADE. My faith is forever deepened because of today. I hope this story deepens yours.
